Electronics eventually wear out, and then what?
State law prohibits the following items from being disposed of in Illinois landfills: computers, monitors, printers, keyboards, video game consoles, scanners, facsimile machines, televisions, stereos, DVD players, mice, scanners, and other electronic equipment.

  • Lisle Township (630)968 - 2087. We are working with eWorks to securely collect electronics Monday through Friday from 8:30 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. at 4711 Indiana Ave., Lisle. All items should be delivered unboxed and free of excess packaging materials. For TVs or computer screens, there will be a small fee to recycle them. $25 for 21 inches and under. Over 21 inches is $35. Payment can be made in advance at http://recycling.eworksesi.org/. Please bring your receipt at time of drop off and check in with the receptionist at the Front Desk. Items Not Accepted: Large appliances, batteries, smoke detectors, electronics from businesses, or hazardous and chemical waste.
