Dr. Joann Wright, Supervisor

M. Joann Wright is the Lisle Township Supervisor. She has been a member of the Lisle Township community since 2006. She loves this community, and finds it a distinct pleasure to serve it.

Joann is very grateful that the team she is running with has signed a civility pledge. Also, they have vowed to each other to live up to carrying out the aspects of campaigning they pledged to complete and do so with respect for their community and each other.

As a psychologist, Joann has spent her career in service of others. She worked on the School Board in District 68  and the Lisle Township 708 Mental Health Board, which she believes has deepened her understanding of the needs of the people of Lisle Township.

As a doctor of psychology, she expanded mental health care in our area during her 17 years at Linden Oaks Behavioral Health, where she opened three new departments. However, she assures you that her focus will not only be on mental health but also on the needs of the citizens of Lisle Township.

To learn the needs and desires of the people of Lisle Township, she endeavors to hear from the community. Joann is a big believer that we have two ears and one mouth for a reason. She will hear you and looks forward to hearing where you believe we need to go. She is a lifelong Democrat. She is here for the people of Lisle Township and intends to hear and serve you well.
