COVID-19 Scam Alert:

Please be alert to scammers taking advantage of people during these difficult times. This COVID-19 Scams Alert is from Tracy Smith of the Naperville Police Department. Ms. Smith is also a liaison officer with the Naperville and Lisle Townships Triad.  Be aware of these scams and help ensure friends and family are aware as well.


Annual Town Meeting Postponed:

The Annual Town Meeting originally scheduled for April 14, 2020 is indefinitely postponed. Governor Pritzker enacted Executive Order 2020-22 this afternoon which states “The provisions of the Township Code, 60 ILCS 1/30-5(a) and 30-5(b), requiring that each township’s annual meeting for calendar year 2020 be held on either April 14, 2020 or April 21,2020 are SUSPENDED through the duration of the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation.”

Therefore, Lisle Township is postponing the Annual Town Meeting, and will announce future action on the meeting when the Gubernatorial  Disaster Proclamation has been lifted and we are provided further guidance.

April 7, 2020:

All offices remain closed to the general public and are expected to remain closed until at least April 30.  

The Food Pantry continues to operate as a ‘drive-thru’ operation. The Pantry is open M-W-F 8:30am to 11:30am and 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Drive up to the food pantry at 4711 Indiana Ave and have your ID ready. Staff will bring out pre-packed bags of food to the vehicle. Please do not get out of your vehicle.

General & Emergency Assistance is also continuing as an essential service, by appointment only. Email and she will call you back to set up a time for your intake.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not currently taking LiHEAP applications at our offices. You can contact the LiHEAP department at DuPage County for an appointment. (630) 407-6500.

Yard Waste collection is expected to resume the week of April 20.

March 26, 2020:

The Supervisor’s office remains closed to the public for non-essential services and staff are attempting to assist clients by phone or video chats. The Food Pantry and General/Emergency Assistance are still designated essential services. Food Pantry continues to operate as a drive-up service, and Assistance is taking place in a safe, social-distancing manner.

Republic Services has notified the Township that they cannot pick up “White Goods” (also known as bulk items) or Yard Waste at this time.  We will continue to update this page as garbage services may change or resume normal operations.

Highway and Assessor operations continue as outlined below in previous updates.

March 19, 2020:

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic Lisle Township Road District will reduce operations in an attempt to limit contact with the general public.  If you have an emergency situation call 911 immediately, the Sheriff will contact the appropriate parties.     If you need a permit or requesting normal non-emergency service please e-mail us at and we will respond within 48 hours.   Thank you for your understanding during these difficult times.

Supervisor’s Office:

Operations are limited to essential services: Food Pantry Distributions and Financial Assistance.  Jobs Club and Senior Services are operating virtually, as possible. Please call the Township with questions and to ensure you can be seen before coming to the office (630-968-2087).

General & Emergency Assistance: please make an appointment with Laura at 630-968-2087.

Food Pantry: We currently are distributing pre-packed bags to limit the potential of exposure to our clients. Please drive up to the Pantry entrance and we will meet you at your car. When perishables are available, they will be included in bags.

Assessor’s Office:
