Veterans Resources

The Lisle Township Supervisor’s Office serves as a clearinghouse for information and referrals for veterans. The township keeps current information on various agencies and organizations that serve Veterans of all ages.

Many of our veterans return from deployment having seen and experienced intense and traumatic situations.  10-20% of veterans experience PTSD as a result of this trauma. Additionally, in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, about 1 in 10 returning soldiers seen in VA have a issue with alcohol or other drugs. These resources are available to help bring attention and treatment to our veterans. We are also have links below to assist veterans in employment and education.
