ED YOUNG – Highway Commissioner


Ed has been involved in Lisle Government for over twelve years.  A Lisle Township resident for over 28 years, he has served as a Village Trustee and as a former Lisle Township Precinct Committeeman.  Ed is a Certified Public Accountant and led the fight to prohibit Meijer from building a superstore in a residential area on Maple Ave.  Ed and his wife Lene, have been married for 39 years.  They have two children and four grandchildren.  Ed has always brought fiscal conservatism to his view of government as well as concern for all Lisle Township residents.

On 3/1/2015, Ed became the Highway Commissioner filling the retirement vacancy of Charles Clarke

Ed was elected to a full term in the general election of 2017.
