Lisle Township Food Pantry Distribution Information and Requirements

There are two types of distributions of food for our clients.

7-Day Distribution

Clients can check in during Pantry hours and shop for themselves from our frozen goods and shelves of non-perishable products.  We typically have a variety of pastas, grains, canned vegetables, beans, and other canned, bagged and dry goods. Clients can come in to shop once every 7 days.

The Food Pantry is open for this regular distribution on:

Mondays:       8:30am-10:30am;  2:00pm to 4:00pm

Wednesdays: 8:30am-10:30am;  2:00pm to 4:00pm

Fridays:          8:30am-10:30am;  2:00pm to 4:00pm

You do not need to call ahead before shopping.

Perishable Pantry

Clients can check in between 10:30 and 10:59 AM for Perishable Distributions.  Typically the Perishable Pantry includes fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, bread, milk, and other dairy products. At the start of the Perishable Distribution, groups will be randomly called to shop. Once all groups have shopped the day’s perishable selection once, groups will be called up again until all perishables are gone or all shoppers are done.

Mondays:       11:00am

Wednesdays: 11:00am

Fridays:          11:00am

You may attend any and ALL days. Please bring boxes or shopping bags.
