LISLE TOWNSHIP YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES
General Counseling
With a long history of commitment to supporting and empowering its residents, Lisle Township offers counseling to those facing challenging life circumstances.
Counseling helps clients focus on their strengths and develop personalized strategies and action plans to most effectively manage challenges, find solutions and increase resiliency. With a collaborative and goal-oriented approach, individual, couple, family and grief counseling is available free and by appointment to residents of Lisle Township.
Over the years, we have seen when one member is out of sync it affects the entire family; therefore, at Lisle Township we are very family-focused. Prevention work is a main thrust of the department. Programs are designed to ward off problems before they occur, as well as intervention in situations to prevent problems from escalating.

Networking Meetings
Wednesdays at 9 a.m. (meeting virtually during pandemic)
It’s a fact: More people land jobs through active networking—upwards of 85 percent—than by any other job search method. Expand your network with other job seekers (everybody knows somebody) and get much-needed support, find out who is hiring and jobs that may never be advertised, share successful strategies and contact names, and practice your “elevator speech”—a brief two-minute verbal resume about positions desired and target companies. Lisle Township partners with the Community Career Center in Naperville to provide this community service.
