The Township offers the following financial assistance programs to families and individuals in need.

Financial aid to meet the basic needs of individuals for health and well being. In order to be eligible, a person must meet the financial and non-financial requirements, and have no other potential means of income. This is an ongoing grant program with Work Program requirements.

Financial assistance to alleviate a life threatening circumstance or meet a basic need such as food, rent, utilities, prescriptions, or personal hygiene items.  Assistance is issued once in a 12 month period to Township residents who meet the financial eligibility requirement.

Funds for the villages of Lisle and Woodridge are issued through the Township.  These limited funds are used to meet a financial crisis such as utility disconnection, lack of medication or possible eviction.

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) assists eligible low-income households in paying for winter energy services.  This program ends for each season on May 31st.
