Job Club handbills and elevator pitches are important tools for success in networking and landing your next job. But what makes them effective and memorable? We will review what works and how to best

engage others to actively and concretely support your search. This workshop is for those who are unsure where to start as well as well as experienced networkers who want to rework and refresh their pitches, and would like feedback. Presented by Lisle Township Job Club Facilitator Sarah Breithaupt, MSEd, LPC.

Experiential and fun, this monthly workshop will help focus and ground you to face the challenges of job search. Providing easy techniques to enhance your professional and personal wellbeing, come for your moment of Zen and return to the search fully present, calm and refreshed. No prior experience necessary, however this is also an opportunity for previous attendees and mindful others to refresh their practice as every monthly session is different. Learn strategies to help you grow through career transition and build resiliency, as well as manage the three Ps of “Everything is Awful,” when facing adversity and challenge. Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg, with the help of others, learned how to kick the you-know-what out of Option B after tragedy struck and you can too! Whether you are living some version of Option B or C, D, or E, you will find this presentation insightful and empowering.
