Lisle Township / DuPage County Shred Day, April 18 Is On!

Shred Day is still planned for Saturday April 18 at Lisle Township.

Hours are 9:00 to 12:00 noon.  Should the truck fill prior to 12:00, we will close at that time.

This program is open to any resident of DuPage County.  You may bring up to 3 bankers boxes /  paper bags for shredding.

This year, we will NOT be allowing residents to leave your vehicle as this will be a drive thru service.  Viewing of the trucks monitor will NOT be offered.  You can be assured we will shred your paperwork within minutes of when you drop it off.

If you have the ability to open the rear hatch/trunk without getting out of your car, we will remove the items for you.

There can not be any plastic folders, bags, large binder clips or folders.  Just paper items.  Small regular standard staples are ok.

Stay healthy, and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday the 18th.

Food Pantry as of 3/18/2020

As of Wednesday, March 18 the Lisle Township food pantry will be providing food distribution in prepackaged bags/boxes only.

This is being done to provide safety to all involved as well as to provide food to all in need.

We believe that with less handling of open food and supplies will result in a cleaner environment for our food distribution.  We understand that some food distributed in this way won’t be food that you want.  On another hand, it might give you a chance to try something new.  Food is great.

We will return to our normal way of distribution when things get back to normal.  In the meantime, let us know if we can provide any other services and we will do our best to do so.

Your staff at Lisle Township.
