<p>An ordinance levying taxes for all town purposes for <strong><em>LISLE</em> <em>TOWNSHIP</em></strong>, <strong><em>DuPage</em> <em>County</em></strong>, Illinois, for the tax year 2011 collectible in 2012.</p>

<p>SECTION 3:       That the Town Clerk shall make and file with the County Clerk of said County of <strong><em>DuPage</em></strong>, on or before the last Tuesday of December, a duly certified copy of this ordinance.</p>
<p>SECTION 4:       That if any section, subdivision, or sentence of this ordinance shall for any reason be held invalid or to be unconstitutional, such finding shall not effect the validity of the remaining portion of this ordinance.</p>
<p>SECTION 5:       That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its adoption, as provided by law.</p>

<h1 style="text-align: left"><span style="font-size: 13px;font-weight: normal">New and Exciting!          <strong>WellDyne Rx prescription drug card</strong></span></h1>
<h1 style="text-align: left"><span style="font-size: 13px;font-weight: normal">Lisle Township is happy to offer anyone this prescription discount card.  It is a discount card program, helping consumers save money on medication if the prescription is not covered by insurance.  It is expected that individuals using the card will save 50% annually and it covers over 60,000 brand name and generic drugs.  This card is offered free of charge to ANY Lisle Township resident.  It cannot be used in conjunction with another prescription card, but it is permissable to see if the savings on this card is more than a paid insurance program.  For more information on the plan including participating pharmacies, go to <a href="http://www.cost2coastrx.com">www.cost2coastrx.com</a></span></h1>
<h1 style="text-align: left"><span style="font-size: 13px;font-weight: normal">There is NO membership fee, no membership list, no application to fill out.  At no time will any personal information be collected.  Cards are generic in nature and usable by anyone in posession of the card.</span></h1>

<p>The staff at Lisle Township invites you to visit your Township and see how we are putting your tax dollars to work. We champion the philosophy that these are your buildings, your offices and your vehicles. It is our duty to fulfill this responsibility in the most cost efficient manner. Our proposed budget for the 2012/2013 fiscal year has been posted above.  Click on the links to view them. We do not duplicate services that are done by the villages, cities, county or state.</p>
<p>By law, Illinois Townships are charged with three basic functions:</p>
<ol>
<li>General Assistance for the indigent;</li>
<li>The assessment of real property for the basis of local taxation;</li>
<li>Maintenance of all roads and bridges outside federal, state and other local jurisdictions.</li>
</ol>
<p>Beyond those services established by state law, Township Government provides vital service to “The People Next Door.” Lisle Township has a senior citizens transportation program, “Job Club” to support residents seeking employment, food pantry, passport program, “Triad” a program with the City of Naperville and Naperville Township to assist senior/disabled citizens with special needs. We also assist residents with “Liheap” applications, a DuPage County program offering financial help with electric/gas bills.</p>
