Lisle Township is sad to announce the Access DuPage program has changed. The program continues to aid a small group of needy individuals in DuPage County. To be considered for this group, potential clients should call The DuPage Health Department to make an appointment to make application for services.
The Access DuPage program is a program to help eligible persons in DuPage County receive primary care medical services. Access DuPage is not an insurance program, nor is it a substitute for health insurance. But, if you are without health insurance and meet the eligibility criteria, Access DuPage and its participating physicians will try to provide you with a “medical home” where you can receive primary care services at a small cost until you become eligible for insurance.
All US Citizens are eligible for insurance through the affordable care act (Obama Care) and thus are not eligible for Access DuPage.
