Lisle Township

Committed to the Service of our Residents

Most of the township area is served by Allied, a disposal company that picks up both garbage and recyclables.  A small area is served by Waste Management.  If you experience any problems with your usual pick-up, please contact your disposal company directly.

The Township does not provide replacement containers for recyclables. We suggest that you purchase a similar container from your local hardware store, discount center, etc.  Blue is the official recycling color and it helps identify recyclables for the drivers, but any color is acceptable.  Containers for recyclables should be no larger than 18-20 gallons.

Household hazardous waste products (such as cleaning solvents, household batteries, fertilizers, etc.) may be dropped off at a collection facility operated by the City of Naperville.  This facility is located at Naperville Fire Station #4; 1971 Brookdale Rd. in Naperville.  (Brookdale Rd. runs east off IL Route 59 and is ¾ miles south of I-88.  The fire station is on the north side of the road.)  The Facility is open on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M.

For more information about disposal of household hazardous waste products, contact the DuPage County Solid Waste Dept. at (630) 407-6700.  Their hot line number is (630) 407-6760.
