The Lisle Township Board of Trustees has appointed Charles B. Clarke to the position of Lisle Township Supervisor, effective February 1, 2002.

Charles (Chuck) served as Lisle Township Clerk for the past 12 years and as a trustee for the previous nine years.

He serves as President of the C. B. Clarke Co. and has a B. S. degree in business from Western Illinois University. He also attended Northern Illinois University for their MBA program.  

Because Chuck has been involved in township government for so many years he is familiar with all of the township’s programs and services. He welcomes his new responsibilities and is sure that this transition with go smoothly.

Richard J. Tarulis was appointed by the Lisle Township Board of Trustees to replace Charles B. Clarke as Lisle Township Clerk.

Rick is a member of the American Bar, the Illinois State Bar, the Illinois Township Attorneys, and the DuPage County Bar Association. He is a graduate of the Northern Illinois University College of Law and a partner in the law firm of Brooks, Adams and Tarulis in Naperville.

Rick’s primary practice is municipal and local law including school, park, library and township law. He has served as Lisle Township Trustee for over two years.

His experience and background will be a real asset to the township board.
